DIY Fabric Charger Plates | The Southern Table – Episode 175
Set the table in style with this easy and affordable DIY! Erin and Kelli show us how to repurpose fabric remnants to create designer charger plates in a matter of minutes to elevate any place setting.
List of Supplies:
- plastic charger plates
- Craft glue
- Small paint brush
- Fabric of your choice ( 2-3 yards of fabric to make four chargers)
- Fabric scissors
How to:
- Cut fabric into squares to cover each plate, leaving about an inch of excess fabric.
- Add thin layer of craft glue to front of plate in evenly, fully covering the plate with adhesive.
- Add fabric square, carefully pressing fabric onto plate to smooth out any wrinkles. Start first in center of plate.
- Flip plate over and cut around the edge of charger to remove excess fabric.
