DIY Fabric Picture Frames | The Southern Table – Episode 191
Dress up old and thrifted picture frames with fabric! Erin and Kelli show us how fabric can instantly transform any frame into a work of art without breaking the bank, adding texture, pattern, and personality to your home.
List of Supplies:
- Craft Glue
- Painters Tape
- Picture Frame with mat
- At least one yard of fabric ( we used 18”x18” cotton napkins)
- Scissors
How To:
- Remove mat from picture frame.
- Paint a thin layer of craft glue on back side of mat.
- Attach to fabric.
- Once dry fold over each side of fabric to wrap the mat and glue or tape down..
- Cut out center of fabric. It is best to start in center of fabric and cut a straight line to all four corners.
- Then either Thule or use painters tape to fold and attach each side.
- Place mat back inside of photo frame.
