Seasonal Hosting Hacks | The Southern Table – Episode 91
We are about to enter the season of holidays and hosting! Erin and Kelli share their secrets to help you show southern hospitality season to season.
3 ingredient Apple Cobbler
1 box of Yellow Cake Mix
1 stick of butter
1 large can of Laura Lynn apple pie filling
In the bottom of a pie dish dump the apple filling and spread out evenly.
Sprinkle the cake mix across the top as evenly as you can. Slice the stick
of butter and place across the top of the cake mix. Bake at 350 degrees for
about 30 minutes or until cake mix turns golden brown.
Erin’s Taco Soup
1 rotisserie chicken shredded
1 jar of Laura Lynn mild salsa
1 can of diced tomatoes with green chilies
1 can of fire roasted tomatoes
1 to 2 cans of great northern beans, rinsed and drained
1 large box of chicken broth (add more if you like it more broth )
Pour all ingredients into slow cooker and cook high for four hours or low
for 6 hours. Towards the last hour, add shredded pepper Jack cheese ( I
like to use about 1.5 blocks of cheese )
